OJK Grants Business License Following Name Change of PT Icecream Insurance Broker
Jakarta, April 1, 2025 – The Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan or OJK) has officially granted a business license to PT Icecream Insurance Broker, following a recent name change from its previous designation, PT Mitra Sentosa Paramaabadi. This change was finalized through an official decree issued by the OJK on March 21, 2025. According to a publication on the OJK’s official website dated March 28, 2025, the license was granted under the decision number KEP-191/PD.02/2025. This new designation as an insurance broker reflects not only a change in name but also signifies the company’s commitment to adhering to regulatory standards in the insurance sector.
Iwan Pasila, Acting Head of the Department of Licensing, Special Inspections, and Quality Control of Insurance, Guarantee, and Pension Funds at OJK, stated, "The name change has been effective since the date the Commissioner’s decision was established."
